It's the middle of summer. Days are at their hottest and we're all trying to score an invite to a cottage or find a friend with a pool. Not like the good ol' days when we'd spend our summers doing arts and crafts and frolicking in some lake for 6 weeks. Needless to say, we haven't been this excited for the First Day of Camp since we were teenagers (not so long ago).
Well we've got some great news, everyone! The prequel to the 2001 cult classic comedy Wet Hot American Summer is now available on Netflix. The flop-film turned cult classic that arguably launched the careers of some of the biggest names in Hollywood, got the whole gang back together for this special 8-episode event. Returning to camp are Janeane Garofalo, Paul Rudd, Christopher Meolni, Ken Marino, Amy Poehler, Bradley Cooper, Molly Shannon, Michael Ian Black, Elizabeth Banks and David Hyde Pierce. New campers include: John Hamm, Kristin Wiig, Jordan Peele, and Chris Pine to name a few.
This weekend, do the right thing. Find some a/c, turn on your Netflix and enjoy because the First Day of Camp has finally arrived!
