The phenomenon of a podcast that took the world by storm last year is being adapted for television by none other than Phil Lord and Chris Miller. Sound familiar? No? That’s fine. Allow us to fill you in. They’re the writer/director team behind The Lego Movie, 21 and 22 Jump Street Fox’s Last Man On Earth and they’re currently working on The Lego Movie Sequel, and a Han Solo spin-off. Chances are it will be a docu-style re-enactment type thing. We’re jonesing to find out what will happen to Adnan…next time, on Serial…

THUMBS DOWNThe Simpsons might be ending after its 30th season

What’s this news that The Simpsons’ 30th season might be it’s last? In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, showrunner Al Jean explains that the shows been renewed until season 28 and the cast is signed on to do up to 30. When asked about the shows' final season he said “If you made me pick one, I'd say the likeliest is ending after 30, but I've been wrong before.” Nooooooo. We can’t lose America’s number one family (sorry Kardashians)! I really thought this show could just go on forever. The show’s been on longer than some of my friends have been alive. They’re not ready for a world without new Simpsons episodes. The WORLD is not ready for a world without new Simpsons episodes. We’ll see what happens, like he said, Jean’s been wrong before.
