Amy Schumer Shared Some Words of Wisdom with the Next 'Bachelor' Last Night

Amy Schumer called in to After Paradise last night and it was glorious.

We all have our guilty pleasures and it looks like Amy Schumer is no exception. After giving some much needed dating advice to Bachelorette, Kaitlyn Bristowe earlier this year, Schumer proved that she's a proud resident of 'Bachelor Nation' when she called into After Paradise on Monday night.

The Trainwreck star dialed in to the official Bachelor in Paradise after show, moments after host Chris Harrison introduced the newest bachelor, second runner up from Kaitlyn's season, Ben Higgins. Ben looked super suave (as always) as he took the call from Ms. Schumer. When asked if she had any advice for the new Bachelor, the comedian replied "Don't do it!" followed by a question it seemed she's wanted to ask him for months... "do you want to have phone sex right now?" He playfully replied that he's got her number and that he'd call her later which left some of us (ya, okay...me) really hoping that those two hit it off IRL.

We're still in love with the idea of Schumer being the next Bachelorette, but something tells us the Mickey Mouse network wouldn't be able to handle what would be, by far, the most hilarious season in Bachelor history.

And "nice try" Chris Harrison for bringing Nick Viall out on stage right before the announcement of the new Bach. Trying to fake out America and get audiences to believe that one of the most controversial contestants in last season's Bachelorette, would be the next Bachelor. We didn't buy it for one second.

Some people probably wouldn't even admit to watching Bachelor in Paradise or it's far inferior counterpart, but sometimes after your second glass of wine whilst wondering why you're even watching this nonsense, you get lucky and Amy Schumer calls in. And on nights like that, you're able to turn our dirty little secret into "work".

You can see more of Amy Schumer during the Oddball Comedy Festival happening this fall all over North America. She'll also be hosting SNL on October 10.

You can see more of Ben H. when he takes his shirt off next season of the Bachelor.
